SDR - Knockin' Down the Walls

Birdman

...

here's the verse/chorus/bridge of our newest song. i'm sure it will speak directly to the hearts of many. uh, or something. maybe not. -jeff
birdman upon my heel again
nightmare among my feathered friends
echoing footsteps i can't see
flee the sound of beating wings

a place to hide and catch my breath
shelter - put this fear to rest
oasis fading from my view
caught in the birdcage (screaming blue)

through ageless dreams of falling scenes
talons tear the sky
a shadowed figure pulls the strings
from a corner of my mind

sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye
four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie
when the pie was opened the birds began to sing
wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?
