Nixon Memorial Haiku

When all's said and done
He got out of Viet Nam
And whipped McGovern.

My Haiku Eulogy

In San Clemente,
Always on the Comeback Trail,
Flourescent static.

We never knew you;
You bombed Hanoi for me -
Now you're earthworm food.

You always played hardball
Chuck Colson met his Maker
While you walked scott free

Sir Walter Raliegh
Coat in the mud under foot
Tricia in the dip

On the street corner
G Gordon Liddy hung out
Waiting for Godot

Demos blew it big
They needed a scapegoat fast
Plumbers sprung a leak

Yesterday was blue
Your victory signs flashed back
Grace and Abbie left

Was Ford a setup?
A thousand pardons, dear sir.
Flag flies at half mast.
